Probus of Lomond
Probus Club of Lomond provides a forum for retired and semi-retired professionals and businessmen to meet and make new friends with others in similar circumstances. Members have a wide range of interests and life experiences which are shared at regular meetings throughout the winter months.
A syllabus of diverse talks leads to lively debates which members are encouraged to continue over lunch in the Clachan Inn. Members also get the opportunity to take part in a programme of walks and occasional outings.
When and where are the meetings: Meetings are normally held in the Drymen Village Hall in the morning of the second and fourth Thursdays of each month from September to April.
How to get involved: The Club has a maximum membership of 70. Applicants for membership must be introduced by an existing member and have their application approved by the committee. To find out more, contact the secretary Duncan Gilmour by email.
