Walk in the Park

Join in on a Walk in the Park and benefit from some fresh air, friendship and fun.

Health Walks are needed now more than ever as we support people to reconnect with their communities and rebuild their health. The Walk in the Park group is confident they can work together to get more people walking again as soon as possible.  Health walkers can enjoy a whole range of benefits including increased fitness, improved mood and increased social interactions with local people and the local area. Walking requires no special equipment or expense and is the ideal way for most people to become more active.

When and where are the meetings: Every Thursday morning at 10.20am, meeting at the Village Square, outside the Winnock Hotel.  It is led by a trained volunteer on a risk assessed route.  The walk lasts for one hour and is free.
