Drymen Bridge Club

A small, friendly Bridge Club open to players of all ages.  Currently there is no facility to teach bridge or take on beginners, however if there was enough interest shown then lessons might be arranged. (A minimum number of 7 would be required and even numbers work best).  Most weeks the club organises a standby player so new solo players can be accommodated.  Once a month the club plays its annual running competition and for this you would need a regular partner for the full season.  Members pay a modest annual membership fee which is set at the AGM and a small weekly table fee to cover the cost of the bridge club.  Guests are welcome to come along up to four times in one season and a nominal guest charge is made.  After four visits the club hopes membership would be the next step!  Pre-Covid an annual Christmas lunch was held with fun bridge; the club hopes to reinstate the event this year.

When and where are the meetings:

The club meets every Thursday in Drymen Village Hall.  Doors open at 1.00pm and bridge starts at 1.15pm promptly.  The afternoon games finish around 4pm, followed by a cup of tea to round off the day.

How to get involved:

The club always welcomes new members. For more information, contact the club president, John MacGregor by email or by phone on 07717 477152.
